At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  1. Perform a complete assessment and recognize trauma-based emotional and behavioral problems.
  2. Identify individual, family and group therapies to treat children with emotional and behavioral problems due to trauma.
  3. Recognize the role of medications for treatment of behavioral and emotional problems due to trauma.

Physicians
Indiana University School of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 6.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Social Workers

Indiana University School of Medicine has been approved by the Indiana Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist and Mental Health Counselor Board to provide Category I Continuing Education program.
