Adult Learning Concepts Course for CNA and QMA Director Training

This activity is designed to provide the directors of QMA and CNA training programs with innovative ways to enhance their existing program to meet the needs of their students. Participants will be taught how to recognize the impacts on teaching/learning, such as the facility environment, diversity and cultural differences, and factors that influences learner motivation. Education about suggested teaching strategies and assessment techniques will be provided. Participants will be able to apply adult learning concepts to the way they teach their nurse aide course.

Registration for this course is included in the $299 fee for QMA and CNA courses. The content is the same for both CNA and QMA, so you only need to take this Canvas course once.

How to obtain continuing education credits after viewing the webinar: 

1. Sign in or create a new account by clicking "Sign In" in top left corner. *If you previously participated in a CME activity accredited by IU but do not know your password, please enter your email address and click on the 'Forget Your Password' button. Your password will be emailed to you.
2. After completing all modules come back here, and click the Tests tile to attest to completing the activity. Please note that, all modules need to be completed in order to receive CME credit.
3. Click the MyCME button and click the Evaluations and Certificates tile. 
4. Choose the Type of Credit, complete the CME Evaluation, and click Submit.
5. On the Evaluations and Certificates page, click Download Certificate.
