Fundamental Critical Care Support

This conference has been designed to meet the needs of Physicians, NPs, PAs, RNs, RRTs, PharmDs, and Critical Care Paramedics in a variety of acute care settings.

1. Prioritize assessment needs for the critically ill patient and select appropriate diagnostic tests;
2. Describe the pathophysiology, clinical presentation and correct response to significant changes in the unstable patient and recognize acute life threatening conditions.;
3. List the indications for expert consultation and/or patient transfer and prepare the practitioner for optimally accomplishing transfer.
