Overview

The Indiana University Sleep Medicine Updates Conference will provide a state-of-the-art update on clinical advances in Sleep Medicine. This conference will cover the latest advances in diagnosis and treatment of sleep disordered breathing, insomnia, circadian rhythm disorder, parasomnias, restless leg syndrome, among other topics.


Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  1. Review the historical development and future directions of sleep medicine.
  2. Identify evidence-based approaches to diagnosing and treating insomnia.
  3. Recognize and manage circadian rhythm disorders across diverse populations.
  4. Explore the relationship between obesity and sleep-related conditions.
  5. Differentiate treatment strategies for primary and complex cases of restless legs syndrome.
  6. Implement best practices for safety and quality assurance in sleep laboratories.
  7. Evaluate non-PAP therapies and advanced PAP modalities for sleep-disordered breathing.
  8. Apply clinical reasoning to challenging sleep medicine cases through interactive discussion.
  9. Reflect on emerging trends, technologies, and equity issues shaping the future of sleep care.

External Physicians/Dentists (Non-IU) - $350.00
Internal Physicians/Dentists (IU, Esk, VA) - $250.00
Techs/APPs/Staff - $150.00
External Trainees (Non-IU Fellows/Residents) - $50.00
Internal Trainees (IU Fellows/Residents) - Free (Requires a promo code from the Sleep Medicine Dept.)

Registration closes on 10/21/2026 at 11:59 p.m.

All registration payment cancellations must be received (30) days prior to the activity date for a full refund.  

If registration payment cancellation is made at least (2) weeks prior to the activity date, a partial refund of 50% is allowable.  

No registration payment refund is available for cancellations made after that point unless cause of cancellation is due to unforeseen extenuating circumstances. The date your request is received by our office will be considered the cancellation date. Requests received after the refund deadline will not be processed.
