Overview

This online workshop is designed to equip physicians with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively educate, mentor, and evaluate medical students in clinical settings. This interactive, self-paced workshop provides an overview of best practices in clinical teaching, strategies for integrating students into patient care, and techniques for providing effective feedback. Program goals include enhancing preceptors’ ability to foster critical thinking, improving student engagement in clinical decision-making, and ensuring a supportive and structured learning environment. Whether you are a new preceptor looking for foundational guidance or an experienced preceptor seeking to refine your teaching approach, this workshop offers valuable insights tailored to your level of experience. Attendees will benefit from practical teaching tools, ultimately enhancing their ability to shape the next generation of physicians while improving their own teaching effectiveness and professional development. Upon successful completion, participants are eligible to receive 1 AMA PRA Category 1 credit.

NEXT STEPS AFTER COMPLETING ALL MODULES: Follow the next five steps through CloudCME to document completion and receive CE

1. Sign into your account at CloudCME, which is the online learning portal to document and track your continuing education credit:  iu.cloud-cme.com 

(NOTE: if you do not have a CloudCME account, there is a link on the CloudCME landing page to create an account.)

2.  After watching all modules, click the post tests tile under the TEST tile and attest to completing the activity

3. Click the MyCME button in the upper right hand of the portal page and click the evaluations and certificates tile

4. Choose the type of credit, complete the CME evaluation and click submit

5. On the evaluations and certificates page, click download certificate

**Participants must view the entire webinar AND submit a completed evaluation to receive credit**

2.   Click the tests tile button and then click on the module's launch website tile button to view that module you wish to watch.
