Pediatric GI Update for Primary Care Providers

Pediatric GI Update Conference for Primary Care Clinician is designed for physicians and allied healthcare providers specializing in family medicine and pediatrics. This program will provide attendees with updates in clinical management of important and/or commonly seen pediatric disorders in gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition. This live activity will include didactic lectures, panel discussions, case presentations and Q&A sessons to create a highly effective environment for the learners.

1. Review diagnostic approach to functional GI disorders
2. Review role of pediatric psychologist in management of functional GI disorders
3. Review alternative methods of treatment for management of functional GI disorders.
4. Review common medications used in treatment of functional GI disorders.
5. Review presentation, diagnosis and management of pediatric inflammatory bowel disease
6. Review management of common abnormalities of common liver laboratory abnormalities in pediatric patients
7. Review management of ingested foreign bodies in pediatrics
