Overview

Adolescents Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Prevention ECHO provides case based education and mentorship for members of the healthcare team providing evidence base and comprehensive care for adolescents patients with SUD.


Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  1. Introduce ways to treat SUD in adolescents including medication treatment
  2. Identify and apply Stigma reduction approaches with SUD
  3. Recognize and apply multi-disciplinary approaches

In support of improving patient care, Indiana University School of Medicine is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

Nurses
Indiana University School of Medicine designates this activity for a maximum of 1.0 
ANCC contact hours. Nurses should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
