This Health Policy Academy is designed to empower nurse leaders and foster interprofessional collaborations when responding to the new realities of health policy, promoting innovation, and igniting bold advocacy.designed to empower nurse leaders and foster interprofessional collaborations when responsive ding to the new realities of health policy, promoting innovation, and igniting bold advocacy. The Academy consists of a two-day conference and group mentorship that will provide the learner with valuable content to prepare them to take action in regard to health policy. The goal of the academy is to have each participant create and implement an action plan that will impact health policy. The sessions include panel discussions and interactive break out rooms where participants select a topic of interest and begin to create a plan of action that will carry on for the remaining year post workshop. Two mentoring sessions, November 2025 and April 2026, will provide support to participants ensuring that goals are met and barriers are addressed.
