Overview
This is a two-day conference with presenters discussing current Perinatal evidence-based topics for CNSs and RNs.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  1. Improve maternal-infant health outcomes
  2. Describe clinical and ethical considerations in providing care to vulnerable populations.
  3. Discuss strategies for successful perinatal clinical nurse specialist role transition.

Health care providers registering after December 31, 2022: $99

This is a two-day virtual conference with presenters discussing current Perinatal evidence-based topics including: Pharmacology in Hospitalized Antepartum patients, the RN role in Labor Comfort & Support, Diabetes in Pregnancy, Care of Pregnant Minors, Pregnancy as a result of Rape, Improving outcomes in Obstetrical Hemorrhage, Trauma-Informed Care, and New Perinatal CNS Role Transition. This two-day conference will be held on Thursday, Jan. 19th 12:00-4:30pm and Friday, Jan. 20th 12:00-4:30pm.


Accreditation
In support of improving patient care, Indiana University School of Medicine is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

Nurses
Indiana University School of Medicine designates this activity for a maximum of 10 ANCC contact hours. Nurses should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
