Treating the Opioid Epidemic: Naloxone over the Counter

1. Identify Indiana Law that allows for the dispensing of naloxone without a prescription;
2. Discuss pertinent literature surrounding naloxone distribution programs;
3. Discuss formulations of naloxone available at retail pharmacies; and
4. Recognize potential issues and concerns that may arise when patients or family members attempt to secure naloxone.
