Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  1. Define emotional labor.
  2. Describe the differences and intersections between emotional labor and mental load
  3. Learn why women are uniquely impacted by emotional labor and caregiving careers.
  4. Assess one's degree of emotional labor required in work, home, and social environments.
  5. Define 2 actions that can be taken to manage emotional labor and mental load.
