Overview
The session on 3/21/24 is all virtual
The Indiana Hepatitis Academic Mentorship Program (IN-HAMP) features a full day of training and medical education for clinicians new to treating hepatitis C. The IN-HAMP will include individual and real-time HCV mentorship with specialists in hepatology, internal medicine, pharmacology, and social work. All clinical providers treating patients living with HCV will be invited to participate in both full days of training and HCV ECHO. Healthcare providers who complete one full day of training will be ready to begin treating patients with hep C and have 1:1 mentorship with a specialist as they see patients.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  1. Demonstrate how to screen, evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients living with hepatitis C
  2. Examine contexts that can increase risk for HCV transmission for marginalized patient populations
  3. Practice culturally competent comprehensive care for patients living with HCV
