Objectives

APA Objectives:

  • Objective: Participants will identify the tasks of development necessary to master independent functioning on the way to adulthood. 
  • Objective:  Participants will discuss the limitations of randomized trials and multiple factors limiting long term response of evidence-based treatments for youth anxiety. 
  • Objective:  Participants will utilize treatment plans involving developmentally informed and contextually challenging strategies to increase independent functioning and maximize long term response in youth with anxiety. 
  • Objective:  Participants will discuss standard and nonstandard pharmacological treatments for anxiety in youth. 
  • Objective:  Participants will identify the characteristics of and treatment strategies for functional tic disorders.
