Overview
The Department of Ophthalmology will delve into the Anterior Segment, featuring new and novel care and treatments. The anterior segment is also greatly altered by other disease states of the eye. The lecture will focus on cataract, cornea, and glaucoma. By highlighting clinical and surgical challenges as well as complications and treatments, the aim of this course is to collectively learn and improve patient safety and outcomes.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  1. Manage complex and complicated cataract cases
  2. Better diagnose and manage cornea and glaucoma related pathology
  3. Identify methods to reduce risk, promote patient safety, optimize management of complications and promote best clinical and surgical practices

Registration

There is no fee to attend this activity, but registration is required.

A pre-conference email will be sent to people who have pre-registered by Wednesday, March 10th. The email will include the activity Zoom link.

In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by Indiana University School of Medicine and IU Health.
