Overview
This conference brings together more than 200 pediatric primary care providers from all over Indiana. Participants are those who have an interest in learning more about current evidence-based diagnostic and management tools pertinent to their pediatric practice. Previously, our audience consisted mostly of pediatricians, family medicine physicians, nurse practitioners, residents, and allied health professionals.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  1. Recognize how trauma presents in children, and how the presentation make mimic other common childhood conditions.
  2. Know simple strategies to help families cope after trauma.
  3. Describe how positive childhood experiences relate to later mental and physical health.
  4. Identify strategies to emphasize positive childhood experiences with patients and families.
  5. Gain knowledge about strategies to identify and treat children with hearing loss.
  6. Confidently identify which children need referrals for abnormal head shapes.

Virtual Day only (May 8, 2024) - $40

In-person Day only (May 9, 2024) - $125

 NOTE: The first day of the conference will be virtual via Zoom and the second day will be in-person at University Tower in Indianapolis, Indiana. All registered attendees will receive a pre-conference email one week prior to the activity with the Zoom link and other important instructions.
