Overview
One day Live Symposium with speakers presenting a variety of topics to the entire group of attendees

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  1. compare current standards of care to a trauma informed care standard of practice
  2. identify tools and technology available for aiding resuscitation or diagnosis of injuries
  3. differentiate differences in neurological patients as compared to non-traumatic Neurological patients
  4. collaborate across multiple disciplines, utilizing good communication techniques in critical patient

Accreditation
 
In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by Indiana University School of Medicine and Eskenazi Health. Indiana University School of Medicine is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

 
Pharmacists

Indiana University School of Medicine designates this activity for 6.75 ACPE contact hours. Pharmacists should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. Credit will be provided to NABP CPE Monitor within 60 days after the activity completion.

Physicians

Indiana University School of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 6.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

ABS MOC

“Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the learner to earn credit toward the CME and Self-Assessment requirements of the American Board of Surgery’s Continuous Certification program. It is the CME activity provider's responsibility to submit learner completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABS credit."
