Overview

Weekly 1-hour conference on Tuesdays from 12pm-1pm presenting an educational topic in inpatient medicine. Meetings are hybrid format and run as both in-person (at the Methodist Hospital Noyes Conference Room) and virtual (via Microsoft Teams app). Meetings are recorded* and may be accessed by team members afterwards for educational purposes. Speakers include both internal hospitalist team members as well as outside guest speakers from other divisions/departments. *assuming speaker agrees to be recorded and completes an appearance release form, and assuming there is no contraindication to recording the topic at hand (i.e, morbidity and mortality case, unpublished research data, etc.)

At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  1. Review current hospitalist literature.
  2. Identify opportunities to improve safety and quality.
  3. Review interesting clinical cases.
