Overview
the Indiana University School of Medicine Krannert Cardiovascular Research Center and Indiana University Health Cardiovascular Institute present The 2023 Inaugural Krannert Biennial-Myocardial Infarction and Reperfusion Injury: New Evidence to Shift Existing Paradigms

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  1. Update knowledge on mechanisms of how myocardium is injured in acute MI with reperfusion.
  2. Identify new treatments developed to mitigate injury and the influence of antithrombotic therapy in acute MI.
  3. Recognize opportunities to translate insights on myocardial hemorrhage to improve outcomes for diverse patient populations with acute MI.
