Overview
This full-day event will provide an in-depth look at clinical and translational research opportunities provided by the Indiana CTSI and Evansville/Southwest Indiana organizations. The event will feature guest talks by Indiana CTSI Co-Directors, Dr. Sarah Wiehe and Dr. Sharon Moe, as well as Dr. David Haas, lead investigator on the Hoosier Moms gestational diabetes study. The meeting will also include a scientific panel/roundtable discussion, short presentations for accepted abstracts, and a grant-writing workshop.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  1. identify resources available in Indiana for clinical and translational research
  2. apply valid study design and scientific writing techniques to their research
