Overview
This will be a one hour CME program to help physicians recognize caregiver burnout and stress. The first part of the program will be to watch the film, Caregiver: A Love Story. The second part with be a lecture by Dr. Jessica Zitter, producer of the film.

Objectives
At the end of this activity, participants should be able to:

  1. Discuss the needs of caregivers in chronic disease and end of life care.
  2. Recognize some of the factors that can lead to caregiver burnout.
  3. Identify resources that can help support caregivers in chronic disease and end of life care.

How to obtain continuing education credits after viewing the film and reading the articles listed under references: 

1. Sign in or create a new account by clicking "Sign In" in top left corner. *If you previously participated in a CME activity accredited by IU but do not know your password, please enter your email address and click on the 'Forget Your Password' button. Your password will be emailed to you.
2. Click the Tests tile and Launch Video to view the film.
3. After viewing the film, click the Tests tile and select Post Test to attest to completing the activity.
4. Click the MyCME button and click the Evaluations and Certificates tile. 
5. Choose the Type of Credit, complete the CME Evaluation, and click Submit.
6. On the Evaluations and Certificates page, click Download Certificate.
