Overview
The Makenna Van Laeken Pediatrics Liver Disease Endowment Program joins the Fifth Annual Indiana University Neonatology Symposium for a unique one day symposium held virtually. Participants will have the opportunity to review current and important neonatal gastrointestinal and liver-focused topics. The registration for this live activity is open to neonatal and pediatric providers, with topics being of particular interest to physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals interested in neonatology and gastroenterology.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  1. Describe genetic contributions and new therapies in neonatal cholestasis
  2. Describe current approaches to the management of neonatal cholestasis
  3. Identify the clinical complexities of immunologic conditions in neonate
  4. Review common congenital malformations of the intestine
  5. Describe the evaluation and management of neonatal cystic fibrosis
  6. Recall the most recent literature of nutrition and bone health in neonate

Registration

Registration is required to attend the meeting:

Physicians, and Advanced Practice Providers - $50

Registered Nurses, Respiratory Therapists, and Others - $25
