Live course to teach ultrasound to emergency medicine faculty through lectures and hands-on scanning stations. This activity is open to IU School of Medicine Emergency Medicine providers only. 


Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to: 

  1. Perform bedside echocardiography to rapidly diagnose patients presenting with a cardiovascular complaint;
  2. Perform an EFAST exam to identify free intraperitoneal and intrathoracic free fluid, and guide acute management;
  3. Perform an aorta ultrasound exam to identify a AAA; and
  4. Perform an OB ultrasound to identify an intrauterine pregnancy.
