Geriatric Symposium at Union Hospital

1. Identify best practices related to optimizing the health and functional status of geriatric primary care patients, including those with dementia;
2. Identify resources for caregivers of elderly patients;
3. Recognize the best practices related to prescribing and managing medications that are common among geriatric primary care patients; and
4. Identify, assess and, treat co-morbid psychiatric conditions common among geriatric primary care patients.
