Emergency Medicine Grand Rounds

Directly Provided - Regularly Scheduled Series

1. Improving resident and faculty ability to critically appraise and apply the best evidence/most current literature to patient care;
2. Identify and manage acute dermatological presentations in the Emergency Department, recognize life-threatening rashes, and initiate correct stabilization;
3. Recognize and manage acute chest and abdominal traumatic injuries; and
4. Recognize the rare presentation of parasitic, fungal and tick-borne diseases and initiate the appropriate treatment.

The Indiana University School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The Indiana University School of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 4.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
