The 2^nd Annual Interprofessional Practice and Education Conference
Interprofessional Practice and Education in Indiana: Bringing it All Together

This daylong event brings professionals from multiple disciplines to share and present efforts in interprofessional practice and/or education being conducted or recently completed in Indiana. There will be a variety of presentations including a plenary, 16 oral presentations, 2 panels, 20 poster presentations and 2 workshops.

Plenary Speaker
Amy Blue, PhD, clinical professor, is associate dean for educational affairs at the University of Florida College of Public Health & Health Professions and associate vice president for interprofessional education in the UF Health Office of the Senior Vice President for Health Affairs.

Registration fee is $99 for professionals and $25 for undergraduate or full – time graduate students. Lunch will be provided. 

1. Recognize IPE/PP opportunities across the State of Indiana;
2. Evaluate the impact of IPE/PP on faculty, learners and patients;
3. Share evidence-based best practices of IPE/PP.

Pre-registration is now closed. Those planning to attend who have not yet registered should plan to register onsite at the registration desk. Registration opens at 8 a.m.

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of Indiana University School of Medicine, Community Health Network, Indiana AHEC Network, Indiana Center for Nursing,  Indiana University Health, Indiana University Interprofessional Practice and Education Center, Purdue University, University of Indianapolis, and University of Southern Indiana. The Indiana University School of Medicine is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Indiana University School of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 5.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Indiana University School of Medicine has been approved by the Indiana Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist and Mental Health Counselor Board to provide Category I Continuing Education program.  This activity qualifies for 5.75 Category I CEU as outlined by the Indiana Behavioral Health and Human Services Licensing Board.

Indiana University Health is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Ohio Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation (OBN-001-91) (OH-412, 6/1/2019). 

This conference is cosponsored by the University of Indianapolis Krannert School of Physical Therapy and is approved for 2 continuing education credits for physical therapists and physical therapist assistants. This conference is co-sponsored by the University of Indianapolis School of Occupational Therapy and is approved for 2 continuing education credits for occupational therapists and occupational.
