Overview
IMDA Quarterly Education Conference

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  1. Describe best practices for patient care in post-acute and long-term care.
  2. Summarize clinical and practice updates as related to post-acute and long-term care setting.
  3. Describe methods to support teamwork through inter-professional teams in the post-acute long-term care environment that are designed to result in quality care and increased satisfaction of the residents, their family and the staff.
  4. Describe best practices for infection control in the nursing home.
