Pursuit of the 3Cs: Confident, Concise and Consistent Health Care Provider Recommendations for Adolescent Vaccinations

A quality improvement initiative to implement and evaluate a physician intervention
designed to support delivery of confident, strong and clear recommendations for all ACIP recommended adolescent vaccines. The goal is for physician practices to improve the acceptance rate of all CDC/ACIP recommended vaccines for adolescents. 

1. Formulate a confident, concise and consistent recommendation for ACIP-recommended adolescent vaccines for all eligible adolescents.
2. Effectively and simply respond to questions from parents/adolescents on the ACIP-recommended vaccines for adolescents.
3. Identify parental disposition and apply motivational interviewing techniques for questions from parents.

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of Indiana University School of Medicine and Unity Consortium.  The Indiana University School of Medicine is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Indiana University School of Medicine designates this enduring material for a maximum of 0.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
