New Activity Description

Objectives
  • Review updates on diagnosis and treatment of common and uncommon rheumatologic diseases in order to provide new physician knowledge, attitude and skills.
  • Discuss how new management strategies arise and evolve-eg, use of TNF receptor blockers in RA, ankylosing spondylitis, etc.
  • Discuss multidisciplinary approaches to care of rheumatology patients. 
  • Identify new updates, treatment and management options required within fellowship and residency requirements.

The Indiana University School of Medicine's Division of Continuing Medical Education (IUSM CME) has been resurveyed by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) and awarded Accreditation with Commendation for six years as a provider of continuing medical education for physicians.
