At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Identify teaching points from a selected journal article relevant to the presented patient;
- Identify evidenced-based opportunities for improvement in patient care for patients with the same or similar conditions;
- Evaluate the treatment of the presented patients based on Trauma Protocols and ATLS and Standards of Care; and
- Improve patient outcomes through increased knowledge base during resident education.
