Overview

Ana E. Núñez, MD will address the importance of conflict resolution in the medical profession at this year's Merritt Lecture. Whether you're in the boardroom or exam room, learn to recognize the potential for conflict and how to communicate effectively to optimize outcomes.



Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:
  1. Recognize their own way of communicating and how this can be misunderstood by others
  2. Identify what constitutes conflict.
  3. Apply effective listening skills to resolve conflict
