At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:
  1. Apply knowledge and skills based on the results of the evidence based programs/practices presented;
  2. Identify principles of standardized perioperative preparation and evaluation of total joint patients including cost and quality of care;
  3. Articulate techniques and strategies for the management of complex patient issues; and
  4. Collaborate on difficult cases and other specialty practices/techniques based on evidence and experience.

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of Indiana University School of Medicine and Indiana University Health.
