At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Improving resident and faculty ability to critically appraise and apply the best evidence/most current literature to patient care;
- Identify and manage acute dermatological presentations in the Emergency Department, recognize life-threatening rashes, and initiate correct stabilization;
- Recognize and manage acute chest and abdominal traumatic injuries; and
- Recognize the rare presentation of parasitic, fungal and tick-borne diseases and initiate the appropriate treatment.
