Day 2 of Emergency Medicine & Trauma Conference for Advanced Providers. 

Conference participants will engage in hands-on activities related to the following topics:
- Radiology
- EKG Interpretation
- Dental Emergency
- Eye Emergency
- Ultrasound



Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to: 
  1. Identify guiding principles of care for a diverse group of Emergency Room patients.
  2. Perform improved evidence based practices using data to reduce inappropriate care and enhance the quality of like and functioning of Emergency Room patients.
  3. Recall and demonstrate patient assessment, characteristics of interpersonal professionalism, such as, effective doctor-patient contact, sensitivity to needs of team members/colleagues, altruism, respect, and integrity.
  4. Review and practice procedure/skill at a designated station that are not seen on routine basis but are a need for Emergency Room competencies.

Registration

Fees: $100 Physicians/AP; $50 for students

Session 1
(Registrants choose one topic from each session.)
9:45 a.m. – 10:45 a.m.

- EKG Interpretation (half to each room)

Session 2
11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
- Orthopedic Injuries
- EKG Interpretation (half to each room)

Session 4
(Registrants must pick one topic for each session.)
12:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. 
- Dental Emergency
- Eye Emergency
- Ultrasound

Session 5
2:15 p.m. – 3:45 p.m.
- Dental Emergency
- Eye Emergency
- Ultrasound
