Objectives
  1. Define biosimilars and contrast them from reference product and generic drugs.
  2. Discuss the history of biologic agents.
  3. Explain how biosimilars are approved by the FDA.
  4. Identify common concern with the use of biosimilar agents.
  5. Recognize economic and clinical impacts of biosimilars.
