At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  1. Understand the science and sociology of unconscious bias;
  2. Identify how bias and the processes of the unconscious mind can impact critical healthcare decisions and results;
  3. Become aware of your background, and its impact on your perceptions so you are better able to advocate for inclusion in your organization; and
  4. Apply new strategies for practicing more conscious awareness individually and organizationally.
