At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:
  1. Recognize the concepts of organ preservation;
  2. Describe the concept of ex vivo organ perfusion for assessment and repair of organs; and
  3. Identify a “Personalized Medicine” approach to the management of donor organs for transplantation.
