Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  1. Identify the gaps in the current strategies to prevent mother to child HIV transmission
  2. Define the opportunities for immune-based interventions to further reduce mother to child HIV transmission
  3. Define the potential differences in the effectiveness of immune based interventions to prevent vertical and horizontal HIV transmission
