Overview

Assessment and Management of Suicide Risks in Children and Adolescents 


Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  1. Identify effective suicide prevention strategies
  2. Administer screening questionnaires for suicidal ideation and risk
  3. Recognize aspects of a comprehensive assessment for suicide risk
  4. Identify techniques to decrease suicides including counseling, follow up contacts, and appropriate referral
