Overview
This program will provide participants with the latest information and guidance available for the diagnosis and treatment of lung cancer by the healthcare team based on advancements in treatment and standard of care. The content will be multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary in nature and will include speakers from the thoracic oncology, surgery, and pulmonology teams at IUSM as well as outside institutions.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  1. Recall and describe the newest developments in the treatment of lung cancer.
  2. Integrate multimodality treatment strategies, including radiation therapy, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapy, into the management of patients with lung cancer.
  3. Apply new knowledge and strategies about therapies into clinical practice based on the most up-to-date treatments described in the learning sessions.
