Overview
Participants in the Fifth Annual IU Health North Central Region Fall Primary Care Conference will learn from subject matter experts about the following topics:
- Treatment options for Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD) and Dyspepsia
- Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) management and preventive care; 
- Routine care of the stable patient with elevated liver function tests (LFTs), Cirrhosis or prior Liver Transplant; 
- Constipation and Diarrhea: Is it Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)?/;
- Evaluation and management of chronic abdominal pain; and
- Use of endoscopic therapies for the treatment of GERD, Achalasia and Obesity.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  1. Apply knowledge learned to differentiate between appropriate and inappropriate diagnosis and treatment options and formulate the plan of care, including appropriate referral when necessary.

Registration

Online registration will close at 7 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 15. Onsite registration available starting at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday.

$100 - Physician/Advanced Practice Providers  
$25 - Students 
(Light breakfast and lunch included)

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of Indiana University School of Medicine and Indiana University Health.
