Overview
This conference brings together a few hundred pediatric primary care providers from all over Indiana and surrounding states. The majority of the clinicians come from outpatient settings and has interests in learning more about current evidence-based diagnostic and management tools pertinent to their pediatric practice. The title and theme for our conference in 2021 will be “Learning from 2020 to Shape the Future of Children’s Health”. 
 
Our audience consists mostly of pediatricians, family medicine physicians, nurse practitioners, residents, and allied health professionals.



Objectives
At the conclusion of the conference, participants should be able to: 

  1. Describe impact of COVID 19 on public policy in Indiana regarding child health
  2. Discuss latest research findings on COVID 19 and its impact on children.
  3. Identify initiatives of IUSM to address Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in healthcare.
  4. Apply new guidelines for pediatric asthma management.
  5. Implement up-to-date recommendations from Infectious Disease and Cardiology re: MIS-C and COVID-19 management.
  6. Describe latest developments in pediatric surgery.
