Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Describe the natural history of a patient with non-iodine avid thyroid cancer. Describe appropriate therapeutic approaches to this group of patients.
  • Recognize when laboratory info is inconsistent with a patients clinical presentation.
  • Identify diabetic patients appropriate for treatment with ACEi and avoid treatment in patients who will not benefit.
