At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Evaluate and appraise research being performed by members of the Department of Surgery at Riley Hospital for Children
- Describe and explain the most recent knowledge pertaining to national and local quality initiatives in the field of surgery
- Implement collaborative quality improvement measures such as clinical registries, feedback about comparative performance, and identifying and implementing best practices, based on documented data.
