Objectives
  1. Identify how intent, mindfulness, and compassion can be helpful in preparing for a difficult conversation.
  2. Use the SPIKES framework to navigate the difficult conversation.
  3. Recognize the benefits of good communication when there is a potentially difficult conversation.
