Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:
  1. Recognize the impact of melanoma with regard to cancer-related mortality in younger and older individuals.
  2. Identify the predictors of melanoma metastases.
  3. Describe the clinical evaluation of cutaneous head and neck (HN) lesions.
  4. Discuss the role of sentinel lymph node biopsy in the management of cutaneous melanoma.
  5. Summarize the primary and adjuvant therapies for cutaneous melanoma.
